Event Review: Richen Singapore Shines at SMF Manufacturing Summit 2025 in Singapore

The summit brought together industry leaders, policy makers and elites from various sectors of the manufacturing industry to map out a grand blueprint for Singapore’s manufacturing sector in the new era.

I. Background and theme of the Summit

Singapore’s manufacturing sector is facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities in the wave of a new era. In order to maintain the strong momentum of transformation and achieve its goal of becoming a global advanced manufacturing hub, Singapore must proactively address the disruptive impact of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI);

while balancing the intersection of technology and human potential to work together to create a more resilient and innovative manufacturing ecosystem.

With the theme of “Intelligent Collaboration: The Future of Humanized Manufacturing in the Era of AI”, the summit deeply reveals the transformative role of AI in manufacturing and emphasizes the irreplaceable value of human creativity in the era of intelligent manufacturing.

This theme not only fits the current trend of the manufacturing industry, but also provides a valuable platform for in-depth discussions and exchanges among the participants.

II. Summit Spectacular

Mr. Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Trade and Industry, was present at the event and delivered a speech, in which he spoke highly of the development of Singapore’s manufacturing industry and encouraged the industry to continue to step up its innovation efforts and work together to drive the manufacturing industry to a higher level.

Nearly 1,500 professionals from various fields of the manufacturing industry as well as students from various universities and colleges actively participated in the event and witnessed this annual feast for the manufacturing industry.
